Get Your Aches
and Pains Diagnosed, Treated and Reduced in Just 1 Session - Without Painkillers or Risky Surgeries

... with Rapid Physiocare ESWT Shockwave Therapy

Do you remember what it was like to be completely free of joint pain?

Feet - Heel spur, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis

Feet pain affects you from the moment you step out of bed, and reminds you of its existence anytime you get up. If you often have to be on your feet at work or at home, repeated exertion will worsen the pain in the long-term.

At its worst, chronic heel pain scan have you limping from point to point.

Elbow – Tennis and Golfer's elbow

Elbow pain can act up from the simplest activities, from twisting open a jar lid or bottle cap to carrying groceries.

It also hinders sports motions like throwing, hitting, swinging a racket/golf club/bat. The condition may also deteriorate from improper execution of those movements or poor conditioning.

Knee – Patellar tendonitis

Knee pain compromises your ability to carry your own weight.

It can often lead to further problems in the ankles and hips as you unnaturally shift your weight to manage simple activities like walking, taking the stairs or bending down to pick things up.

Constant joint pain and aches is not just a physical ailment, but also has many knock-on effects

According to Harvard Health* people with chronic pain have three times the average risk of developing psychiatric symptoms—usually mood or anxiety disorders.

Deters you from regular physical activity necessary for general physical and mental well-being. This is an even harder pill to swallow for people who enjoy exercise and used to exercise regularly.

Worse - if you decide to “walk it off” and it eventually becomes a chronic, recurring pain. You could be risking more severe sprains or fractures that require more serious (and likely more expensive) intervention.

No, it is not normal to always be in pain. The solution isn’t to just walk it off, stretch it out or get used to it.

Although it’s common, it doesn’t have to and shouldn’t be this way

Our top priority is the effectiveness of the treatment. That’s why all our treatment sessions offer a holistic approach that includes:

Manual physiotherapy techniques by our experienced clinicians

Shockwave therapy (machine-assisted physiotherapy)

Physical stretches/exercises that you can continue to practice in your own time

While just relying on one of the three types may contribute to easing your pain, we believe a multi-faceted approach is the most efficient and effective way to guarantee real, long-term, sustainable pain relief.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are many solutions in the market for pain relief, why Shockwave Therapy?

For the pains listed above (heel, elbow and knee pain), we recommend shockwave therapy because it is the most effective in the shortest amount of time.

Other alternatives to for pain relief treatments like ultrasound or traditional manual techniques (which we also practice) are easily 3 - 4 times slower.

How many sessions do I need?

We will not recommend more than 3 follow-up sessions within one consultation. The number of sessions that you require will be determined during the visit after your physiotherapist discusses your treatment goals and progress.

We only recommend whether or not to come back for treatments after the second session.

How quickly do I see results?

We’re confident to treat most acute pains within 3-4 sessions. However chronic pains may require more sessions depending on the clinician’s diagnosis and recommendations.

Is it painful?

The patient may experience some discomfort during the session depending on their existing pain tolerance levels and the condition of the area being treated. ESWT sessions are usually short in length and the intensity of the treatment can be adjusted throughout the session based on the patient’s comfort levels.

This is definitely not for someone who is looking for a comfortable, relaxing treatment. But many patients still continue to come to us because a temporary moment of pain can help them to relieve their long-term chronic pain.

Is there any downtime?

Yes. There may be no immediate pain, but you may experience some discomfort in 2-4 hours post-treatment. In some cases, it can last up to 48 hours. Very rarely, the pain can last up to 5 days.

You are still recommended to decrease strenuous activities for 48 hours following the treatment.

Do you do any upselling? Be honest.

No. We absolutely don’t do any hard selling or upselling for our patients. That means

  • No salesmen, only professional advice from MOH accredited clinicians
  • No packages to lock you in
  • No hidden fees

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. However, if you were provided with a professional’s referral, please bring it along when you attend your first physiotherapy session.

Is this insurance claimable?

Yes! We offer (cashless) direct billing for our patients’ convenience by working with major international insurance and medical assistance organisations listed below.

Please ensure that you have contacted your insurance company for pre-authorisation of service. You will be entitled to direct billing when they issue you a Letter of Guarantee (LOG) indicating the number of sessions approved or the coverage amount.
